I haven't been on dA much lately, and it's mostly because it seems like the only things I ever see on the main feed are pictures of cats, badly drawn manga, family photos, and softcore porn. It gets pretty old after a while, as I hope some of you can imagine.

Well, perhaps that's an unfair generalization. There are still some fantastic artists on this website, and if I look hard enough, I can usually find some very unique creations to feast my eyes upon.

But, still, it's sad when I have to refresh page after page of the news feed to discover anything even remotely interesting. I don't think the administrators of this website should be so proud of the tens of thousands of new members they gain every day, because an overwhelming majority of them will still post pictures of their family reunions, "chibis", and their nauseatingly large collection of cats.

Maybe there's hope for you yet, deviantART, but I'm not quite so optimistic.
